Care & Maintenance
1. Before First/Each Use: Soak the PVA sponge in warm water for 2 minutes until fully soft and saturated. Do not wring if hard, as it may damage the sponge.
2. After Use: Rinse thoroughly under running water until clear, wring out excess water using the Squeeze-Dry Mop Plate, allow to air dry completely (it will harden, preventing odours or mildew).
3. Cleaning the Sponge: Rinse with clean water after each use. For deeper clean, soak in mild soap or a vinegar-water solution (1:3 ratio) occasionally. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasives, which can degrade the PVA material.
4. Storage: Hanging well-ventilated area. Store with sponge dry and hard to extend lifespan.
5. Refill Replacement: Replace the sponge mop refill when it loses absorbency or shows wear (typically lasts 6-12 months with proper care).
6. General Tip: Change cleaning water frequently to avoid streaks. Do not expose to direct sunlight or extreme heat for prolonged periods.
7. Handle/Plate Care: Wipe down with a damp cloth as needed. Check connections periodically for tightness.
Safety Information
1. Safe for Surfaces: Gentle PVA sponge will not scratch or damage sealed hard floors (tile, laminate, marble, wood, etc.).
2. Slip Prevention: Effective wringing minimizes water on floors, reducing slip hazards.
